- The mould is dishwasher-proof, making cleaning simple.
- It is available in several sizes: Extra Small (XS), Small (S), Medium (M), Large (L).
- The size variant indicates how many treats can be made per mould use: e.g., Small for small dogs gives about 5 portions, Medium for medium dogs gives 4 portions, Large for large dogs gives 3 portions.
- Usage Instructions & Fit:
- You pour the mixed Smoofl ice-treat mix (or your prepared equivalent) into the mould cavity, insert the edible stick, freeze until solid. Then push from the back/slit to release the treat in paw shape.
- Because each cavity holds one portion, you can scale the number of treats by the number of cavities in your mould, depending on size.
- Benefits:
- Makes treat-time fun and visually appealing with paw-shaped frozen treats.
- Reduces mess and guesswork thanks to the portion-fit design.
- Easy to clean (dishwasher safe) and easy to demould.
- Available in sizes for dogs of different sizes, so the treat is appropriate and manageable for the dog
- Adds a nicer presentation to the homemade dog ice treat concept.
- Tips & Notes:
- Choose the mould size appropriate for your dog’s size: smaller mould for small dogs, larger for big dogs.
- When using the mix that states “makes up to X treats depending on mould size” (mix description) you’ll pair the correct mould size for best fit.
- Although the mould is dishwasher safe, check your dishwasher’s instructions for silicone items, and make sure it’s placed securely so that cavities don’t get deformed.
- Ensure the frozen treat is fully solid before demoulding, to keep the paw-shape intact and avoid breakage.
- The mould is for treat-making, not for cooling down an overheated animal directly (the ice treat is for licking/enjoying, not for therapeutic cooling) as one retailer notes.
